Bucky is an epidemiologist for the Office of Health Information Technology (OHIT). He received his bachelor’s degree in biology from Hendrix College and is currently working towards completing his Master’s in Public Health with a focus in Epidemiology from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). Prior to joining OHIT, Bucky worked for several years in a medical laboratory practicing compassionate front line patient care in a wide variety of both clinical and inpatient settings. Bucky combines this front-line experience with his training as an epidemiologist to promote efficient and effective data analysis at OHIT. Bucky is also proficient in the data analysis software SAS and the programming language R.
